Mar Gregorios Abdul Jaleel Arts and Science College, established in August 2010 as a co-educational institution, is governed by the St. Thomas Educational and Charitable Society under St.Thomas Jacobite Syrian Church, North Paravur – one of the ancient churches in Kerala and a pilgrim centre and now the State Government has included the church in the “Musris Paitrika Scheme”. The present Manager is Prof. Ranjan Abraham who is the Secretary of the Church. The principal of the college is Prof.S.Mohandas formerly of SreeSankara Vidyapeetom College, Valayanchirangara. The college is recognized by the Government of Kerala and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University ,Kottayam
