About Us

Mar Osthatheos College is under the management of Mar Osthatheos Charities, Kunnamkulam, a registered society under the Travancore Cochin Literary, Scientific and Chari-table Societies Registration Act of 1955(Reg. No.44/1971). Mar Osthatheos College is a self-financing Arts & Science College for coeducation. The college got the approval from Government of Kerala and affiliated to Calicut University. College campus spread over an area of 5.27 acres with sufficient number of buildings. It is about 5 KM from the heart of Kunnamkulam town and is located at Perumpilavu on the Calicut and Palakkad highways. The Mar Osthatheos Charites was started in the Sacred name of Mar Osthatheosn Sleeba in 1965. He was the delegate of H.H Patriarch of Antioch to India (1908-1930). He was looked upon as a living saint by people of all castes and creeds. His mortal remains entered on 19th March 1930 at St. Mary's Syrian Simhasana Church Arthat, Kunnamkulam, founded by him. The admission is open to all academically eligible students. Having a very good academic standards and congenial learning atmosphere, the College provides an ideal disciplined, value based education. The general management and the control of the college administration is vested with the Principal, subjected to the control and decisions taken by the college Manager appointed by the Managing Committee of Mar Osthatheos Charities.
