Dear Parents and Students

Nearly thirty-eight years ago, the founder of MVJCE, Bangalore, embarked on a journey to nurture and chisel out the finest quality of Engineers. The students who have graduated from our portals have distinguished themselves as Industrialists, Entrepreneurs, Innovators, Educationists, Heads of prestigious organizations and practicing Engineers. It is a matter of pride that MVJCE continues to be the ‘Institute of Choice’ for students from all over India and abroad, when students today have vast options in selecting an Engineering college. MVJCE , which has become a brand name, is one of the top ten preferred colleges in Karnataka, and all the seats get filled-up in the first and second rounds of CET admissions.

Right from its inception in the year 1982, MVJCE has been promoting excellence in education, made possible through highly qualified and dedicated faculty members and modern infrastructure. As an ongoing and continuous process, MVJCE strives to build into the curriculum the capacity to innovate and the ability to solve problems creatively, besides enabling every student to develop skills like critical thinking, communication and collaboration, which are so significant in the current context when industry needs are far more important than mere academic knowledge. Thanks to OUR Management that strongly believes in a sustained improvement in the delivery of quality technical education.

It is these concerted efforts that have bestowed MVJCE with Autonomous status during the academic year 2019-20, adding to our already existing accolades like Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) New Delhi, and Recognition by UGC with 2(f) and 12(B) status. It is a fitting acknowledgment of the yeoman service this great institution has been rendering to the society, by igniting young minds.

The journey of MVJCE towards excellence, with the main objective of continuous enhancement in administrative and academic competence, is envisioned through three major pillars: Intellectual Infrastructure, Courses/Services offered and Institution Building. It is our tireless effort to keep strengthening these pillars.

Placement

The Placement Cell at MVJCE facilitates between the corporate and the student for recruitment. More importantly, it is geared to understand corporate requirements and develop students who are employable. In the 4 years of engineering at MVJCE, this is accomplished through 160 additional hours of targeted training. Our programmes are designed to improve confidence levels, analytical thought, presentation delivery, communication skills and technical know-how. MVJCE’s Placement Cell is supported by group discussion rooms, interview rooms, seminar halls, and more than 400 computers with 10 MBPS dedicated internet and LAN connectivity that can be utilized for online tests.
