About Us

The College of Physiotherapy of Peerless Hospital and B. K Roy Research Centre commenced in 2006, to train students in Bachelor of Physiotherapy ( BPT ) course and is recognized by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences . This course is of four & half years duration. It includes Theoretical classes as stipulated by the University & practical classes are held in Physiotherapy section of the Department of Physical Medicine and other various departments of the Hospital. After successful completion of the course, six months’ internship is mandatory. After qualifying, a Physiotherapist may take up a position locally or nationally, either in government or private hospitals or may practise independently. Physiotherapists can also qualify for employment abroad.
