About Us

Sivagiri Sree Narayana Medical Mission college of Nursing was established in October 2004 with B.Sc Nursing programme. currently the college is providing B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc Nursing courses. For Basic B.Sc Nursing course the seat was increased to 60 in 2008 & 70 in 2009. In 2009 M.Sc Nursing course was started with Community Health Nursing, obstetrics and gynecology Nursing and psychiatric Nursing specialty with 5 seats in every specialty. In 2010 2 additional specialties that is, Peadiatric Nursing & Medical Surgical Nursing, with five seats each were started. so the college has been imparting instructions in 5 specialties in M.Sc Nursing. In 2010 Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme was started with an intake of thirty students. The college is affiliated from inc, KNC, Kerala University and Kerala University of Health Sciences for of these courses. the college} has fully qualified and experienced faculty, well equipped science laboratory and a good computerised library with web facilities.
