Sri Surya College of Nursing (SSCN) was established in 2003, offers a 4 year Bachelor degree course in Nursing.It has been committed to educating knowledgeable, competent and compassionate nursing professionals. All the alumni are employed in a variety of healthcare settings throughout the country as well as abroad. With the educational programmes, a longstanding tradition of providing quality healthcare education continues.Nursing is the promotion and optimization of health and abilities of individuals, prevention of illness and injury, alleviation of suffering through the diagnosis and treatment of human response and advocacy in the care of individuals, families, communities, and populations. It involves assisting the individual, sick or well, in the performance of those activities contributing to health or its recovery. Nursing is the caring behaviour and practices that distinguish nursing from other professions.
